Fighting climate change – Heliatek at „Tech For Planet“ event

On 11 December Heliatek took part in the “Tech For Planet” initiative in Paris, held as part of the climate summit.

The initiative, launched by the French President Emmanuel Macron, brought together selected companies and powerful people to discuss challenges and solutions for the future of the planet. Heliatek was one of six companies to present its solar film technology in the Cluster for ´Sustainable Energy´.

Specific solutions and technical innovations were in the spotlight of the event, thus demonstrating time has come for action instead of talking. Among the guests was Bertrand Piccard, who was the first to travel around the world in a solar-powered airplane with his team.

Jean-Laurent Bonnafé, CEO of BNP Paribas also attended the event and addressed the fact that companies such as Heliatek lead the way to a climate-friendly future.
